Calling Card – Voice Mail – IP-PBX…. Arabic IVR Added

Dear Members,

Today we released the stable version (V.1.0.1) of the Arabic IVR for the following JVS modules:

-Calling Card IVR.
-Voice Mail IVR.
-Callback IVR.
-Peer2Peer IVR.
-IP-PBX.

In order to hear the new Arabic IVR live we have created a demo access number which can be dialed from any phone line with international access.

Note: make sure you have DTMF enabled in order to get the proper reaction from the IVR System.

1-Dial +19055954509.
2-You will hear the Select Language scenario Press 1 for Arabic and 2 for English.
3-Enter PIN # 104065555611 followed by the # key.
4-Enter any destination number without 00 or 011 (e.g 96265535060) Followed by the # key.

JVS Capacity Per Server?

Hardware needed:

he hardware requirements would depend on the amount of traffic you are planning to handle. In general we recommend the following specifications for peak performance and reliability. This configuration should be sufficient to handle up to 3,000 simultaneous calls:

  • Good, modern server-grade hardware from a reputable vendor (Dell, IBM, etc);
  • SMP system with at least 4 CPU cores in total (2x Dual Core or 1x Quad Core, Xeon 53xx, 54xx or 55xx), 2.4GHz or better;
  • 4GB of RAM for 32-bit version or 8GB for 64-bit version;
  • 10,000 RPM or faster SAS hard drives in RAID0+1, RAID1, or RAID5 configuration. The recommended minimum capacity of the RAID array is 70GB with at least 2 drives and a good hardware RAID controller is suggested.

Can JVS Run on Windows OS?

No , JVS comes with a bundled ISO image with Unix Free-BSD Operating system it cannot run on windows , at the moment we are not planning of developing a windows version of JVS.

Note: JVS ISO comes in 2 versions 32 bit & 64 bit.

Description

JVS XML-RPC API is developed to make it possible to integrate third party software with JVS SoftSwitch.
General Information

* The XML-RPC is used as a communication protocol.
* Access to this service is protected by HTTP-Digest authentication and optionally by SSL encryption.
* The interface supports the element to represent NULL values. There is no such or similar element in the XML-RPC specification but most implementations support it so it can be considered to be de-facto standard.
